FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to procedure and facility for supersonic oxygen blow into furnace, particularly to furnace of cupola type wherein total amount of oxygen required for furnace operation is blown in by means of two different circuits. The first circuit contains at least one nozzle of supersonic oxygen blow. The second circuit consists of facilities for additional oxygen blow. Also the second circuit is coupled with the first circuit by means of facilities sensible to pressure, such as a relieving device (or an input pressure control) so, as to obtain stable pressure of oxygen in the first circuit as soon, as its maximal consumption is achieved. Additionally, the first circuit can contain several groups of supersonic nozzles.

EFFECT: raised efficiency of cupola type furnace.
