FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, the fields of dairy and beef raising, namely to methods of feed processing aimed at improvement of protein nutritional value of feeds, and can be used at animal feed mill and butter-making plants, as well as directly in dairy farms. Method of increasing the protein availability of protein feed for fixation from the digestive tract of ruminants is that the protein feed before feeding is pre-treated in a microwave oven by heating up to 110°C for 5 minutes.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method enables to improve protein nutritional value of feed twice, and therefore, necessary standards for adding of protein feeds in diets are reduces and cost value of products (milk, meat) obtained is reduced.
