FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for welding by non-consumable electrode in atmosphere of argon by butts of tubes from "МНЖ5-1"-type copper-nickel alloy. Flux comprises components in the following ratio, % by weight: aluminium fluoride 56-62, calcium fluoride 8-14, potassium chloride 10-20, boric anhydride 10-20.
EFFECT: flux ensures higher quality of welded seams due to reduced porosity and increased depth of main metal penetration.
