FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to obtain corrosion-resistant copper-nickel coating of sealing area of the valve box assembly from aluminum-nickel-bronze. An arc weld deposition of working layer of copper-nickel alloy through an intermediate layer is performed. The intermediate layer is welded in 1-2 layers of copper-nickel alloy with 16-18% nickel content. The working layer is welded in 2 layers of copper-nickel alloy with 40-50% nickel content. Deposition of sublayer and working layer is performed downward at the product inclination 5-10°. During deposition of the intermediate layer onto bronze a layer of the activating flux of 34A grade is applied.

EFFECT: by improving the corrosion resistance of the underlayer the method provides decrease of nonferrous metal consumption while maintaining the cracking resistance of the product.
