FIELD: means of comminution of waste general mechanical rubber good.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a device for comminution of the worn tire-covers of the air-operated tires. The device for comminution of the worn tire covers of air tires contains: a mounted on a base mechanism for transportation of the tire covers to the mechanism of compression and delivery of the tire covers in a zone of comminution; a shredder. The mechanism for transportation of a tire cover is made in the form of the movable carriage with a mounted on it circular mill table and the unit of a tire cover centering with a meter of a characteristic size of a tire cover, providing control over positioning of a tire cover relatively to the mechanism of compression and delivery of the tire covers in a zone of comminution, that is made in the form of a pair of profiled rollers. One of the rollers is a support- driven and another one is a pressing roller. The device has a power drive for motion. The shredder of the tire covers is made in the form of a drum with inserted cutters mounted as cantilevers on its outer cylindrical surface in the order providing serial interaction of the cutters in the comminution process with a part of a tire cover, gripped by the mechanism of compression and delivery of the tire cover in the zone of comminution. The invention makes it possible to process the covers with different types and dimensions, has high efficiency and minimum power consumption.

EFFECT: the invention allows to process the tire covers of different types and dimensions, has high efficiency and low power consumption.
