FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method for high-frequency welding of parts from plastics and device for its realisation. Method is intended for sealing of cover-body joints in plastic accumulator batteries with compartments arranged by partition inside body. Method is implemented by means of joined parts coverage along perimetre by high-potential and grounded electrodes of working capacitor connected to high-frequency generator, with simultaneous application of pressure. At the same time inside body the second working capacitor is created, difference of potentials in which is developed by induced EMF, and difference of potentials is adjusted in the second working capacitor. Device comprises body with compartments, two outer coaxial electrodes - high-potential and grounded one installed on both sides of welded parts, and insulation insert installed between electrodes. Body compartments additionally contain two inner electrodes arranged in the form of sections of thin-walled pipes having rectangular section, lowered at bottoms of compartments and tightly adjacent to walls of body and partition. At the same time height of walls in inner electrodes adjacent to partition is less than height of body by thickness of body, and height of opposite walls in inner electrodes is less than height of body by at least fivefold thickness of body. Outside the body there is the third outer electrode installed, which is connected serially to capacitor of alternating capacitance connected to grounded electrode.

EFFECT: increased quality of plastic parts joining, having complex shape, and increased efficiency of equipment.
