FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical and electrochemical industry and in semiconductor technology. Gas mixtures, containing HF, HCl1 or HBr and other components, such as fluorinated anhydrides of carboxylic acids, C(O)F2 or phosphorus pentafluoride, can be separated by means of water-free ionic liquids. As ionic liquids used are salts, whose melting temperature is below 100°C, preferably approximately 20°C. Ionic liquid cation is preferably selected from compounds of imidazolium, imidazolinium, pyrazolium, oxatriazolium, thiatriazolium, pyridinium, pyradizinium, pyrimidinium, pyrazinium. Ionic liquid anion preferably represents monoalkylsulphate anion, monoarylsulphate anion, esterified phosphate or phosphonate anion, alkyl, aryl or ester groups can be substituted with one or several halogen atoms, preferably fluorine atoms.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of HF, HCl or HBr removal from fluorinated anhydrides of carboxylic acids, C(O)F2 or phosphorus pentafluoride excluding hydrolysis of said compounds.
