FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to recovery of physical-mechanical properties of metal of vessels of power reactors. An external wall of vessel is heat insulated. Heaters are installed inside the vessel, and walls of the vessel are heated form the side of internal surface. Further, they are conditioned and cooled. Also vessels are heated to temperature 400-580°C at rate not over 20 degr/h and conditioned during 100-150 hours at temperature gradient between the external and internal surface of the vessel not above 15 °C. The vessels are cooled at rate 20 degr./h to temperature 300°C and at rate 30 degr./h to temperature 100°C; further, the heaters are stopped.
EFFECT: simplification of recovery of physical-mechanical properties after influence of operational factors; reduced temperature gradient and number of defects in metal of vessel of water-moderated water-cooled power reactor (WMWCPR)-1000.
