FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: multichannel acoustic-emission device for inspecting articles consists of 1…n units, each having four measuring channels which include an acoustic transducer and an electrical circuit which has a digital signal processor connected in each measuring channel of the unit which continuously reads measurement information from random access memory, processes the said information and uses a certain algorithm and a channel mode control device to change its transmission band. Controlling the transmission band of low-pass and high-pass filters enables to achieve channel calibration mode, a noise and interference detuning mode, as well as reception of discrete signals when the controlled threshold level is overshot.
EFFECT: increased protection from noise and interference at a high level, faster operation and accuracy of diagnosis results.
