FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in gas-filled discharge device containing two electrodes located coaxially one opposite the other inside the housing and electrically separated from each other with an insulator, as well as back-and-forth movement mechanism of one of electrodes along discharge device axis, which is fixed on the end of the housing through dielectric flange, the housing is metal, and movement mechanism includes two one-armed and two double-armed L-shaped levers connected in pairs to each other and to the flange, leading screw perpendicular to the discharge axis and connected to ends of double-armed levers by means of rotary sleeves, and remote dielectric handle rigidly connected to the leading screw; at that, movable electrode is fixed on spring-loaded stock and electrically connected to the housing by means of metal membrane.
EFFECT: decreasing overall dimensions of the discharge device, improving manufacturability, serviceability, decreasing self-inductance, enlarging service life.
