FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the food industry, mainly - to dried foods production. To produce the fried product one uses a plant oil compound containing a phytosterol component where the said phytosterol component is present in the form of one or more compound phytosterol ethers. The food product frying proceeds at a temperature of at least 177°C.
EFFECT: usage of thus prepared fried product enables cholesterol level reduction.
