FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Removal of femur head from acetabulum is performed. From resected femoral neck 4-6 cortical autotransplants, narrowing along length, are formed. Length of cortical autotransplant constitutes 2.0-2.5 cm. Autotransplants are cone- or wedge-shaped. Diametre of cone base is 3-5 mm. Diametre of cone apex is 1-1.5 mm. In roof and posterior wall of acetabulum in direction, perpendicular to its surface, canals are formed. Autotransplants are implanted with narrowed end into roof of acetabulum and its posterior wall until their complete submergence. After that into acetabulum endoprosthesis cup is installed with press-fit fixation.
EFFECT: method ensures increase of reliability of cement-free endoprosthesis cup fixation in total endoprosthetics of hip joint in patients with osteoporosis.
