FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, to production of dispersedly strengthened copper-based powder, to manufacture composite materials in power engineering, electrical engineering, machine building and other areas. Additives are introduced into copper melt as limitedly soluble in it. Produced melt is heated by 50-150°C over temperature of additive melt and is maintained in furnace, mixing continuously until it fully dissolves, and produced melt is sprayed into powder. Additive added into copper melt is alloy Fe-Cr-C. At the same time additive is added into copper melt in amount of 3-10 wt %.
EFFECT: invention provides for production of powder with improved physical and technological characteristics - apparent density 3,35-3,5 g/cm3, fluidity 37-39 s-1, compression ratio at P=4 MPa 76,5-82%, with grain shape of particles, uniform distribution of disperse phase with size of 1-5 micrometre.
