FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of contact plates of current collectors of electric stock of railway transport. Wear-resistant composite powder material on copper base includes the following, wt %: iron 0.5-10; graphite 6.0-8.0; stannum 0.5-7.0; phosphorus 0.3-0.4; cast iron 2.78-5.97; copper - the rest. At that, cast iron is in the form of disperse secondary phase equally distributed in copper particles in quantity of 3-8 wt % of secondary phase with average size of 0.05-11 mcm.
EFFECT: high physical and mechanical and anti-friction properties.
