FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology for production of fibres, which are able to absorb infrared radiation of solar light and may be used to produce winter clothes, interiors and leisure goods with improved ability to hold heat. Fibre, which absorbs in near infrared area, includes microparticles of tungsten oxide, level of content of which makes from 0.001 to 80 wt %. Microparticles have grain size from 1 nm to 800 nm and represent microparticles of tungsten oxide of common formula WOx, where 2.45≤x≤2.999, and microparticles of complex tungsten oxide of common formula MyWOz, where M - Cs or Rb, 0.001≤y≤1.0; and 2.2≤z≤3.0.
EFFECT: fibre holds heat well, demonstrates high transparency, which does not deteriorate design of produced garments, and is cheap.
