FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to parking systems of open and closed car parking lots, providing for maximum density of parking area use at single-level horizontal arrangement of cars. Device for movement of platform-tray in automated system of car parking comprises platform-tray, trolley-manipulator and frame consisting of parallel installed metal guides. Trolley-manipulator is made of two movably joined frames, upper frame and lower bearing frame, where lifting mechanisms are located - to lift and lower upper frame. Gear motor joined to sprockets via cardan shaft, provides for movement of trolley manipulator along metal guides of frame. On platform-tray arranged in compliance with size of trolley manipulator, at the bottom along the whole length in the centre, there is a steel gear rack installed, teeth size of which is proportionate to pitch of links in chain installed along whole length in the centre of upper frame and joined to gear motor. Along whole length of trolley manipulator, along edges of platform tray at the bottom there are two guides arranged for fixed movement of platform tray along rolls from one trolley manipulator to the other one in longitudinal direction. On upper frame in the centre along whole length of guide there is a chain installed, which, interacting with geared rack of platform tray serves for its movement in transverse direction from one trolley manipulator to another one. On upper frame there is gear motor installed to rotate chain. Metal guides of frame are arranged in the form of two parallel installed rails, on inner surface of which there are geared racks arranged along the whole length to move trolley manipulator along them in metal guides.
EFFECT: maximum density of parking area use at single-level horizontal arrangement of cars.
