FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method to park cars includes placement of cars in individual cells, filling a multi-tier parking lot and moved inside it, besides, cars are collected and returned using non-filled cells, the number of which is determined according to the following formula: F=n-1, where n - number of tiers, in the following sequence: a parked car is installed into the lower cell onto the bearing platform - tray, afterwards the driver leaves the car, the platform-tray with the car is moved along the vertical line to the above bearing trolley-manipulator, if necessary, the trolley-manipulator with the platform-tray and the car are moved along the horizontal line from one row into the other one into the unfilled cell at any tier, apart from the upper and the lower one, the cars arranged on the upper tier are moved only along the vertical line, and on the lower tier - only along the horizontal line, the maximum number of parking places is determined according to the following formula: Q=n·c-(n-1), where: Q - maximum number of parking places, n - number of tiers, c - number of rows. Also a device is described for parking of cars.

EFFECT: improved manufacturability of production, assembly and reduction of cost of a device for car parking, maximum density of parking area usage.
