SUBSTANCE: present invention provides for method and device of information exchange between the first and second units, points or terminals in wireless local network (WLAN), where possibility is provided to use alternating interval for multiaddress and/or broadcasting services, and also application of appropriate alarm between the first and second units, points or terminals in wireless local network. The first and second units, point or terminal include access point (AP) or another appropriate network unit or terminal and station (STA) or another appropriate network unit or terminal in wireless local network. Access point AP and station may indicate their ability to support flexible listening interval for multiaddress and broadcast services by means of new roles application in frames "Beacon" and "Probe Response", and also in frames "(Re)Association Request". Multiaddress and broadcast service is adjusted by application of alarm in tuning of multiaddress and broadcast service.

EFFECT: provides for more optimal power saving for STA stations by application of flexible listening intervals for multiaddress services in wireless local networks.
