SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical technology, namely to methods of information processing for race walking. Body motion detection device contains a block of account the number of steps by detecting motion of the body, a computer unit calculating the amount of exercise on the basis of the counted number of steps, the receiver receiving the signal from the transmitting device, which contains an information identifying the transmitting device, the unit of selection parametre based on a signal from the transmitting device used in the computer unit. The transmitting device is attached to a stick for north walking, and contains the block forming teams and a transmitter. The system of calculating volume of the exercise while walking contains a body motion detection device, the transmitting device and a stick for north walking.

EFFECT: use of invention enables to calculate correctly the amount of exercises by using a stick for north walking.
