FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: joint implant with a rod made of titanium alloy which has at least the rod made by precision casting method and has centered cubic crystal structure. Titanium alloy with such crystal structure, so-called beta-titanium alloy, has a lower modulus of elasticity, which is preferable from the standpoint of requirements of physiology.
EFFECT: production in the form of finished casting enables to produce complex shapes.
