FIELD: medical devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of inactive medical implants. A group metal blank is used in the form of a ring or linear profile, which has an allowance for machining and partially follows the contour of the implant. A fine-grained structure is preliminarily formed in the workpiece in the direction in which the implant perceives functional loads. Preliminary mechanical processing of the workpiece is performed. It is then cut into multiple individual pieces, followed by final machining of each piece individually. As a result, medical implants with uniform properties are manufactured.
EFFECT: obtaining a method for manufacturing inactive medical implants.
