FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use as hoisting device in mounting and repair jobs in hard-to-access areas and under radiation effects. Hydraulic cylinder comprises housing, detachable extra cylinder and support plate. Said detachable extra cylinder has a pin on outer surface, while support plate has equal-depth grooves in the form of direct and involute sections for said pin, axes of said sections intersecting in one point. Extra cylinder rod is coupled with base plate by cylindrical joint fitted in tubular support, while housings of the main and extra cylinders are coupled by detachable joint. Hydraulic cylinder has locking elements representing plates and guide rollers with their axles to be fitted in support plate seats in position depending upon that of guide groove.

EFFECT: possibility to use hydraulic cylinder components both independently and in combination to increased number of degrees of freedom.
