FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to procedures for modifying surface of textile material and can be implemented for application of thin films of metals, alloys or metal compounds. The procedure consists in degassing material in vacuumised chamber and in successive application of coating on its surface by magnetron spraying. Also material is vacuumised in low-temperature plasma of glow discharge of un-polymerised gas.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of coating, reduced time for modification and reduced electric energy consumption.
