FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in separate high-pressure pump testing and adjusting at test bench integrated with reference nozzles and high-pressure fuel lines, and selecting set of nozzles and fuel lines per one engine in compliance with the capacity of said nozzles and lines. It differs from known methods in that nozzles removed from the engine are tested with adjusted to fuel injection start pressure, quality of fuel straying, tightness, hydraulic density. Note that high-pressure lines are tested for tightness and, together with tested nozzles and fuel high-pressure pump, are placed on test bench intended for testing high-pressure pumps.
