STAND FOR TESTING AND RUN-IN NOZZLES Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC F02M65/00

Abstract RU 2767671 C1

FIELD: testing stands.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stands for testing and running fuel equipment of internal combustion engines. A stand for testing and running injectors is proposed, including a high-pressure fuel pump 1, a hydraulic accumulator 4, fuel lines, electrically controlled valves 5 associated with a control system 6, and a control system with the necessary sensors. The high-pressure fuel pump 1 of the Common Rail system was used as a pump, the accumulator 4 of the Common Rail system was used as a hydraulic accumulator, the electrically controlled valves 5 were installed at the outlet of the accumulator 4, the injectors 7 were connected to the accumulator 4 through electrically controlled valves 5. During testing and running-in of hydraulically controlled injectors, the control system cyclically opens and closes electrically controlled valves installed at the outlet of the accumulator. During testing and running-in of electrically controlled injectors, an additional harness is connected to them, connecting them with the control system, the control system once opens and does not close the electrically controlled valves installed at the outlet of the battery until the end of testing and running-in.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to test both hydraulically controlled and electrically controlled injectors, thereby increasing the versatility of the stand, as well as reducing the requirements for drive power and reducing the weight and size indicators of the stand.
