FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing and adjustment of diesel internal combustion engine (ICE) fuel hardware. Control method of diesel engine fuel hardware technical condition, which consists in providing at first constant and then alternating rotation speed pattern of fuel pump drive shaft (FPDS) during diesel engine fuel hardware bench tests. FPDS rotation speed is changed by harmonic law without breaking the connection of rotation speed actuator with FPDS rack. Cyclic fuel feed values obtained in a given number of cycles at constant and alternating rotation speed patterns of FPDS are measured. Technical conditon of tested diesel engine fuel hardware is estimated according to the results of differential comparison of these values.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the accuracy of diesel ICE fuel hardware technical state estimation.
