FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: concentration of antibodies to type III collagen is determined in units of optic density in blood serum of children with pulmonary tuberculosis by ELISA method. After that blood serum is applied on microscope slide surface in amount 0.1-0.2 ml in form of a drop, dried at room temperature, microscoped and type of leaf-like structures is determined by formula: C=W/L, where C is coefficient of leaf-like structure expression, L is longitudinal dimension (length) of "leaf", W is transverse dimension (width) of "leaf". If leaf-like structures of 3 or 2 type are present before beginning of specific therapy or 2 months after its beginning and concentration of ABC more than 0.3 u of optic density or in case of presence of leaf-like structures of 3 type and ABC concentration within 0.2-0.3 u of optic density formation of expressed residual changes in patient's lung tissue is predicted. If leaf-like structures of 1 or 2 type are present after 2 months of treatment and ABC concentration is less than 0.2 u of optic density, or "leaves" are absent and concentration of ABC is higher than 0.3 u of optic density moderate and reversible sclerotic changes in lung tissue are predicted.

EFFECT: timely prediction of reparative process course in lung tissue allows to carry out correction of pathogenic therapy in due time and increase treatment efficiency.
