FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: ion mobility spectrometre has a bearing flat insulating substrate, a set of electrodes mounted on the substrate for generating an electric field, lying perpendicular to the substrate, a corona discharge based ion source, a collector and a sealed casing around the electrodes. One side of the sealed casing is a flat insulating substrate on which there are heating elements and temperature control sensors.
EFFECT: reduced vibration of the collector caused by the pumps which generate air currents, more stable operation of the device due to suppression of additional noise in the detected ion current.
