FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in method for control of electric drive with electric motor (1) at permanent magnets, bridge inverter (2) of AC, capacitance accumulator (4), source of power supply (5) and load (6), in mode of motion and mode of braking, inverter (2) control unit (3) generates signals that vary in compliance with laws of motion or braking with the help of high-frequency modulation. In mode of braking in one half-period of frequency for the time t < T/2, where t - value of braking signal, and T - period of modulation frequency, simultaneously all semiconductor keys of inverter (2) connected to positive terminal of power supply source (5) are opened. In the following half-period of frequency all semiconductor keys connected to negative terminal of power supply source (5) are opened for the same time, while for remaining time all keys are closed. Reduction of losses in braking and improved economic parametres of device are realised without complication of power part, i.e. with optimal weight and size properties.

EFFECT: improved weight and mass properties by means of design simplification.
