FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gripping device comprises clamping cams that retain sample, body and levers arranged evenly along its perimetre, arrange at the angle to longitudinal axis of sample, hingedly connected to body and to clamping cams. Every cam is installed diametrically opposite relative to sample towards area of fixation of connected lever to body. Number of cams is selected as equal to number of levers, at the same time parts of levers that envelope sample are arranged in the form of brackets, and to initially fix sample between body and cams there is a support and elastic element installed to affect the cams towards sample.
EFFECT: elimination of risk of plastic clamping of metal and allow sample, reduced dimensions of device, possibility to test small-scale samples.
