FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to food industry and may be used in fast food system. The method envisages filling placement between two slices of e.g. a bakery product and heating in a microwave oven. Prior to heating the sandwich is placed between two slices of cheese and then treated in the microwave oven under vacuum conditions till the cheese layers form an integral foamed jacket. The cheese slices project outside the end surface of each side of the filling by a distance equal to at least half of the filling thickness.
EFFECT: invention provides for stable adhesion of the sandwich layers to each other in combination with good flavour and convenience of consumption due to the integral cheese jacket.
