FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detonation spray coating. This invention aims at developing high-efficiency single-unit detonation spray coating unit. To this end, combustion chamber of proposed unit accommodates cylindrical insert with its side surface furnished with peripheral ribs that have axial cutout made in each rib. Generator insert is fitted in generator casing so that insert rib side surfaces and those of the casing are connected gas-tightly to form several annular channels intercommunicated via axial cutouts. Cutouts in adjacent ribs are arranged diametrically opposite.
EFFECT: reduced weight and sizes, ease of transportation.
