FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to manufacture low-hydrogen electrodes of the main type for welding of filling and lining layers of pipeline seam from steels of the following groups K-60 (X-70) and K-70 (X-80), and also metal structures from steels with rated strength limit up to 686 MPa inclusive. Components of coating composition are taken at the following ratio, wt %: carbonates of alkali-earth metals 33-35, fluorite 16-19, waterless aluminium silicate 12-20, aluminium powder 1.0-1.2, ferroalloy of manganese 8-9, ferrosilicon 2.5-3.0, ferromolybdenum 2.2-2.6, iron powder 12-16, fluoroplastic 1.5-2.3, soda 1.5-2.0, organic plasticiser 0.7-2.0, defomix 0.15-0.20. Composition provides for increased impact viscosity of welded metal to achieve cold brittleness threshold -40°C at high limits of its fluidity, reduced content of diffusion hydrogen in it, improved formation of seam due to its reduced ripple.
EFFECT: coating has good surface properties in manufacturing of electrode, stable concentricity along its length.
