FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for welding metal structures from carbon and low-carbon steel and welding of filling and facing layers of weld joints of pipes of high strength. Mixture of electrode coating contains components ratio in following ratio, pts.wt: alkali-earth metal carbonate 33–36, calcium fluoride 15–19, ferrosilicon-manganese 4.5–5.5, ferrosilicon 3.0–3.8, ferromolybdenum 1.4–1.7, iron powder 18–23, soda 1.3–2.0, silicate blocks 1.5–2.0, wollastonite 9.0–14.0, aluminium 1.3–2.0, fluoroplastic 1.4–2.0, plasticisers 1.5–2.0.
EFFECT: threshold cold brittleness of weld metal using electrodes with said coating is minus 70 °C, with impact strength KCV≥60 J/cm2.
