FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: electrode coating can be used when making electrodes for electric arc surfacing of component parts working under abrasive wear conditions. The composition contains the following in pts. wt: ferrochromium 19-20, graphite 4-6, ferroboron 3-4, ferromanganese 3-4, ferrosilicon 29-30, marble 25-27, fluorite 12-14 and fluoroplastic 1.5-2.0.
EFFECT: coating enables to obtain a layer of weld with hardness of 58-64 HRC with low crack susceptibility in the weld metal which has high resistance to impact loading.
