FIELD: construction, road engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and land reclamation construction and may be used as nature conservation coast-protecting structures in controlled riverbeds. The proposed dike dam of biopositive design comprises two parts: a flexible head part - the first stage 1 and a rigid root part - the second stage 2. The first stage 1 of the dike dam comprises two layers of heavy fascines 3 folded as mutually perpendicular. The first layer 6 is made of dense rows of heavy fascines 3 laid along with water flow. The second layer 9 - from heavy fascines 3f folded normally to direction of flow and rows of the first layer 8. The second stage 2 of the dike dam is made above the root part of the first stage 1 from rows 10 of heavy fascines laid in parallel along to water flow direction. Subsequent third and more layers form rows 10 of heavy fascines 3. Two reinforcement wires 11 are tightened around rows of heavy fascines 3 folded in layers and stages to form rings. Ends of the wire 11 are attached to an anchor 12. The anchor 12 is arranged in a coastal slope above its fixation point. The coastal slope behind the dike dams and between them is strengthened with gabion mats 13. Fillers for gabion mats 13 are light fascines 14. Heavy fascines 3 are made with diametre 0.5-0.75 and length of 2-2.5 m from a soil filler and flexible shells. At the same time the filler is made of bags 4 filled with fertile soil with addition of seeds of perennial herbs and bushes with developed root systems. The shell of heavy fascines 3 - from dense layers of dry cane 5 and flexible gabion net 6 tightened around the cane layers. There are mounting eyes 7 in areas of heavy fascines 3 transportation.
EFFECT: proposed coast-protection structure makes it possible to increase efficiency of structure operation and helps to recover water-protection coastal areas.
