FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: shock-absorbing element with body installed on furniture part comprises linear shock absorber, having cylinder and piston installed in it with the possibility of motion, to which connecting rod is connected. Pusher connected to connecting rod or cylinder protrudes from body. Connecting rod is pre-stressed in position, protruding from cylinder. Adjustment facilities are provided to make support for limitation of pusher travel and connecting rod extension out of cylinder. Length of connecting rod travel may vary relative to cylinder. Adjustment facilities are intended to insert connecting rod against spring force into cylinder. Adjustment facilities may contain curvilinear guide, with the help of which travel limiter may be displaced relative to body, or may have adjustment disk, where spiral-like curvilinear guide is arranged, in which travel limiter journal enters. Travel limiter has link, which enters into pusher opening via body splint.

EFFECT: making it possible to use shock-absorbing element with various furniture parts with provision of certain end position of linear shock absorber, and reduced wear due to separation of forces that occur during shock absorption from adjustment facilities.
