FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: in well operation method involving pumping of composite material to the formation to the interval below oil-water contact, process exposure and operation of the well, there preliminarily performed is forcing of water from inter-tube space with oil to the interval below oil-water contact; in order to prepare composite material the thickener is filled to inter-tube space of the well on the basis of 1-5 kg per 1 m³ of oil located in inter-tube space, and mixing of thickener with oil in inter-tube space by oil circulation with thickener via tubing string and inter-tube space, and pumping of solution of oil and thickener from inter-tube space to the interval below oil-water contact is performed in pulse mode under pressure exceeding hydrostatic one by not more than 10%; at that after process exposure the well operation is performed during the first 5-15 days in moderate mode with flow rate of not more than 50% of the operating one.

EFFECT: reducing associated water production.
