FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: wind motor includes rotor installed with possibility of rotation relative to vertical axis, blades, each of which is fixed axisymmetrically on rotor housing with possibility of being turned under wind influence relative to the appropriate vertical axis and made in the form of the main part and flap, which together form a low arched profile of the blade, which is symmetrical relative to its chord connecting the profile points which are located at maximum distance from each other; at that, flap is hinged to the main profile part on the above profile chord. Wind motor also includes blade turning locks fixed on rotor housing and flap position control devices, each of which is made in the form of two curved stops, for example cylindrical pins fixed on rotor housing on both sides of the blade with possibility of contacting the stop surfaces on the appropriate flap. Besides curved stops are installed so that at contact of stop surface of the flap with the appropriate stop the flap deflection angle from chord of the main blade part is 5…45 degrees.
EFFECT: construction is simple and reliable and the device ensures change of blade geometry within certain limits in compliance with turning angle relative to rotor housing at their free turning under wind influence.
