FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method of blasting higher-power ammunition consisting of the main case with the main trinitrotoluene-based explosive, fuse, additional case accommodating kerosene with nozzle to spray the latter and piston to force it out, and powder charge consists in firing off additional case by powder charge, spraying kerosene via nozzles in additional case through acting by powder gas pressure onto kerosene through piston and blasting the main explosive to produce shock wave composed by compressed, hence, heated air intended for another blast to result from kerosene oxidation. Proposed higher-power ammunition comprises main case with main trinitrotoluene-based explosive, fuse, additional case accommodating kerosene with nozzle to spray the latter and piston to force it out, and powder charge to fire off additional case and spray kerosene, case accommodating fuse and control system to actuate said powder charge. Note here that main case accommodates additionally laser range finder to define additional case fire-off height.
EFFECT: higher power of explosion.
