FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment and, in particular, to ammunition – artillery shells, cruise missiles, bombs and other similar kinds of ammunition. Ammunition is characterized by the fact that it contains a metal shell, explosive – BB and refractory material. Latter is placed between the explosive and the inner wall of the shell. Refractory material provides the possibility of protecting the shell of the ammunition from the inside of the heat at the time of the explosion. At the same time, it is possible to create pressure inside the shell during the explosion, in consideration of its retained tensile strength.
EFFECT: technical result is the maximum preservation of the qualities and properties of the shell metal necessary for the effective use of the power of the munition.
