SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for pre-admission diagnosis of traumatic shock in polytrauma, including in elderly patients and infants. Substance of the method consists that a severity of injury of all anatomic regions and their segments is scored in points in a special way. 1 point is assigned in multiple unilateral fractures of facial bones; single unilateral fractured ribs; fracture of clavicle; fracture of scapula; fracture of breastbone; closed fracture of forearm bones; open fracture, crushing, avulsion of hand; closed fracture of foot bones; 2 points - one segment spinal fracture; open fracture of both forearm bones, forearm avulsion; open fracture, crushing, avulsion of foot; 3 points - closed fracture of shoulder; closed fracture of shin bones; 4 points - multiple unilateral fractured ribs; 5 points - open fracture, avulsion of shoulder; closed femoral fracture; open fracture of both shin bones, avulsion of shin; 6 points - breast trauma with affected chest, hemopneumothorax; multiple unilateral pelvic fractures; 7 points - open comminuted hip fracture, hip avulsion; 12 points - intraabdominal injury with internal injury. The points are summarised. If point total is 5 to 10, first-degree traumatic shock is diagnosed, from 11 to 15 - second-degree traumatic shock, over 15 - third-degree traumatic shock.

EFFECT: use of the given invention provides more accurate diagnosis of traumatic shock.
