FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery of combined injury. A combination of the patient's pancreatic risk factors is analyzed based on the results of the acute trauma examination in accordance with Table 2 of the description. A total prognostic factor of risk factors (TPF RF) is determined by the declared formula. If the TPF RF value is 0 to 1.5, the uncertain probability of developing acute traumatic pancreatitis is predicted. If TPF RF from 1.5 to 4.0 – predicting the probability of developing interstitial form of acute traumatic pancreatitis. If TPF RF is from 4.0 to 5.0, high probability of developing necrotic form of acute traumatic pancreatitis is predicted. If TPF RF more than 5.0 – predicting the normal development of the destructive form of acute traumatic pancreatitis.

EFFECT: method enables effective, informative and reliable prediction of the probability of developing acute traumatic pancreatitis accompanying a combined shock injury by evaluating the complex of the most significant risk factors.
