SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for objectification of the various postoperative recovery assessment. Therefore, a Questionnaire of Postoperative Recovery Index is presented to a patient to complete by himself. It is used to assess an extent of limitations of usual physical house activity, habitual labour activity, mental work associated with a habitual life, physical activity associated with usual range of movements, as well as an effect of painful sensations, psychoemotional state and desire for the extent of limitations. Five optional answers in each point are possible, and a corresponding point considering the extent of limitations of physical and mental activity is assigned to each optional answer. After the questionnaire is completed, an investigator summarises all derived points and calculated a postoperative recovery index. The values of the determined index are within the range 0 to 100 with a greater numerical value showing the wider extent of limitations.
EFFECT: method allows for more accurate postoperative recovery assessment.
