SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, preferably to dentistry, oncology, and can be used in the complex treatment of patients with osteosarcoma of the lower jaw. Pre- and postoperative chemotherapy, surgical treatment in the form of resection of the affected area of the lower jaw with primary autoplasty of the defect. From second day after the operation, sessions of mesodiencephalic modulation (MDM therapy) are performed. Assign MDM-therapy at first twice a day with a six-hour interval for three days and then once a day for the next seven days. MDM-therapy is performed through electrodes, which are fixed on the head of the patient using the fronto-occipital technique: anode – in the middle of the forehead, cathode – in the middle of the nape. Pulse currents with a frequency of 10,000 Hz modulated in the low-frequency range from 20 to 100 Hz are used for MDM therapy. Select the strength of the current individually before the patient's senses “crawling”, and/or slight burning or vibration, and/or individual shocks, and/or low pressure. Next, a therapy session is performed on the selected current strength. Duration of the session is 30 minutes.

EFFECT: method ensures prevention of metastasis and relapse of tumor formation, the creation of conditions for the development of local and systemic antistress effect, a rapid decrease in the severity of the pain syndrome, an acceleration of recovery of function due to early reduction of edema, regeneration of the mucosa, acceleration of bone repair, and psycho-emotional recovery.
