FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmosurgery. An intraocular lens (IOL) comprises haptic and optical parts. The optical part consists of two asymmetric optical elements combined along an interface plane perpendicular to a central optical axis, and generating a single curved closed surface. The first optical element contains a front elliptic surface with its convexity turned to the cornea, and a back surface of the second optical element represents a convex elliptic surface with its convexity turned to the retina. The first and second optical elements have different refraction coefficients. The haptic part is integral and consists of two consistent haptic elements representing rings concentric concerning a centre of gravity of the IOL. The internal haptic element adjoining the surface of the optical part is located in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis and passing through the centre of gravity of the IOL, and the external haptic element is angularly deviated from the internal haptic element.
EFFECT: application of said IOL allows increasing resolution, reducing spherical aberration and improving depth resolution, and said design is supposed to be used in children.
