FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmosurgery. A multifocal intraocular lens (MIOL) comprises an integral optical part. The optical part consists of three asymmetric optical elements with two of them representing two asymmetric optical elements combined along an interface plane perpendicular to a central optical axis, and generating a single curved closed surface. The first optical element contains a front elliptic surface with its convexity turned to the cornea, and a back surface of the second optical element represents a convex elliptic surface with its convexity turned to the retina. Refraction indices of the optical mediums of the first and second optical element are different and relates as 1.407:1.386. The third optical element represents an optically transparent ring reflected from the retina and fixed on a lateral surface of the second optical element, in a cross-point with a plane perpendicular to the central optical axis and passing through a centre of gravity of the MIOL. The front surface of the third optical element is convex, and the back surface is concave. Refraction indices of the optical mediums of the first and third optical element are different as well and relates as 1.399:1.394.
EFFECT: application of said IOL allows increasing resolution, improving depth resolution and visual angle.
