FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmosurgery. An intraocular lens (IOL) comprises haptic and optical parts; the optical part consists of two asymmetric optical elements combined along an interface perpendicular to a central optical axis, and passing through diametrical points of end surfaces of both elements. Front and back elements of the optical part comprise three consistent curved congruent elliptic surfaces, external, middle and internal, one inside the other, with their convexities turned to the cornea and retina respectively. Each pair of the front and back optical elements combined of external, middle and internal elliptic surfaces respectively forms a closed curved surface. The haptic part is integral and consists of two consistent haptic elements representing rings concentric concerning a centre of gravity of the IOL. The internal haptic element adjoining the surface of the optical part is located in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis and passing through the centre of gravity of the IOL, and the external haptic element is angularly deviated from the internal haptic element.
EFFECT: application of said IOL allows increasing resolution and improving depth resolution.
