FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmosurgery. An intraocular lens (IOL) comprises haptic and optical parts. The optical part consists of two asymmetric optical elements combined along an interface, a perpendicular central optical axis, and generating a single curved closed surface. The first optical element contains a front elliptic surface with its convexity turned to the cornea, and a back surface of the second optical element represents a convex elliptic surface with its convexity turned to the retina. The haptic part is integral and consists of two consistent haptic elements representing rings concentric concerning a centre of gravity of the IOL. The internal haptic element adjoining the surface of the optical part is located in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis and passing through the centre of gravity of the IOL, and the external haptic element is angularly deviated from the internal haptic element.
EFFECT: application of said IOL allows increasing resolution, reducing spherical aberration and improving depth resolution and visual angle.
