FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of air disinfection in premises with application of ultraviolet radiation. Device for air disinfection contains case (1) with inlet (2) and outlet (3) windows and with internal combined coating, which includes sound-adsorbing polymer layer (4) and aluminium foil (5), with filter (9) and fan (10) being installed in inlet window (2) of case (1). In case formed is irradiation chamber (6) with longitudinally placed gas-discharge mercury lamps (7) of low pressure, provided at inlet and outlet with protective labyrinth shields (8), made in form of grids from curved plates (12) with radius of curvature more than distance between neighbouring plates in grids. Sound-adsorbing polymer layer (4) at inlet into irradiation chamber, lower than location of lamps (7), is made with ring conical surface (11) for direction of air flow from coating on lamps.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce aerodynamic resistance to air movement and increase device efficiency.
